Cremation Service
Edmond, Oklahoma, 73012
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
After serving several years with the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, I realized I needed to follow my calling of caring for those who are grieving from a loss.. As my wife, Kristin, and I searched for ways to pursue this calling, we decided to build a funeral service of our own in hopes of developing our ministry in a business that genuinely cares for the families we are serving. We want to develop a business that may carry a reputation, but more importantly, displays true character. As the famed UCLA basketball coach, John Wooden, once said, "Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are." Our true desire is not only to carry a reputation of a funeral service provider that cares for the families we serve, but to also be funeral professionals that display sincere caring and compassionate character in the business world, on downtown streets, or an afternoon walk in the park.
As the son of a funeral director, I grew up in a business where people are your primary concern. I learned a lot about people and that each person and family experience losing a loved one differently. As Kristin and I considered our vision for our funeral home we wanted to make each family's service a tribute to the life of their loved one and not just a "cookie-cutter" service. We designed our facility with the family's comfort in mind: soothing colors and comfortable furnishings; spaces to relax in such as the family reception center, coffee lounge near the staterooms, and plenty of natural light. Our multi-purpose chapel can accommodate a traditional service, a concert, a fully catered banquet, or any type of gathering the family envisions. Although I believe our facilities are first class, a building is not what determines our success or who we are. Our overall success in meeting our goals hinges on the simple concept of taking care of people and seeing to it that their every need is not only met but surpassed as we celebrate the life their loved one lived. As I have heard it said, "It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen." After all, we celebrate more than just a day in a lifetime, we celebrate a life in a single day.
