In 1957 Benton County Memorial Park was established on dedicated land directly between Rogers and Bentonville just off of Walnut Street. As a non-denominational cemetery, it is the final resting place for people of all faiths and walks of life. From this humble beginning, it is now the resting place for over 12,000 families. As the population grew, additional acres of land were acquired, dedicated, and approved by the Arkansas Cemetery Board.
The cemetery was originally established as an “Endowed Care" cemetery. In other words, a portion of the sale of property and other services are placed in a Trust Fund regulated by the State of Arkansas. The income of the fund insures that the rolling meadows, foliage, and gardens will remain as a beautiful landmark in perpetuity.
Although our tree-lined grounds are purposely secluded, we are only minutes away from any point in the "Northwest Arkansas Corridor" and offer a full range of services to meet the needs of the community. We are locally owned and offer both cemetery and funeral home services at a single time and place. With all services provided in one location, the overhead is greatly reduced and our prices reflect it.
At Benton County Memorial Park there is no third party involvement. Our staff personally perform every phase of the process. Virtually all of the other funeral homes in the area use third-party removal, embalming services, and crematories, making it nearly impossible to oversee your loved one’s care. With the increasing popularity of cremation, we constructed one of the first crematories in Arkansas in 1972, making us the only funeral home in the area to both own and operate our own crematory. To preserve families' privacy we do not perform cremations for other funeral homes. Everyone seems to agree that their loved ones should only get one final resting place, and our commitment to detail ensures that it will be the correct one. In the case of cremation we can return the urn with full confidence and the family can be assured that their loved one’s remains were handled and processed correctly.
While remaining predominately a burial park, for those families desiring above ground interment there are four types of mausoleums or crypts available. We offer the Community Mausoleum for inside entombment, Garden Mausoleum with an outside exposure, Cremation Crypts that have a solid granite veneer and Cremorials that encapsulate the urn in our Rose Garden. These options, available at one location, bring together all services at one convenient location.

When working with a funeral home, you typically have the option of holding a visitation, service, or ceremony in the days leading up to the cremation. Cremation is a cheaper option compared to a traditional funeral service and interment.
