Heritage Funeral Home was established in 2005 as the first funeral home serving Andover and the surrounding communities. As a locally owned funeral home, we provide family-focused, technologically creative, and financially compassionate services. Our funeral home was founded on the promise to guide each family through the grieving process to the best of our professional abilities. A local business investor and his wife, living in the Andover area since 1979, came together with Shawn Snyder, a local funeral director, to fill a need for a service that would care for the special interests of the people of our communities. With Shawn's experience in family-owned and corporate-owned funeral homes and the investor's experience in the healthcare industry including home health and hospice, Heritage's business model and philosophy of caring for families is different than any other funeral home in Kansas. Families experience listening, compassion, problem-solving, and education.
In 2011 Heritage Funeral Home opened an office location in El Dorado with the intention of providing funeral service options to the El Dorado Community. We grew in early 2014 to include a chapel large enough to suit most families needs while maintaining our business model of providing excellent service at reasonable pricing.
